INFO 350: Technological Ethical Dilemma

In my INFO 350 course, Information Ethics and Policy, we were asked to write an essay that focuses on a big ethical dilemma in information and technology work. The Big Ethical Issue I chose to focus on was: Are inherently flawed machine learning algorithms amplifying the stereotypes that exist in our society today?
